This meatloaf is inspired by a Greek-style meat called “gyro”. It features a tasty mixture of beef, lamb, and an assortment of herbs that will have your family wanting second helpings. This meal is low in fat and in calories, while the protein boosts you with energy.

Ingredients
  1. 1lb lamb (grounded)
  2. 1lb beef (grounded)
  3. ½ onion (chopped)
  4. 1 tablespoon Garlic (minced)
  5. 1 teaspoon Marjoram
  6. 1 teaspoon Oregano
  7. 1 teaspoon Cumin
  8. 1 teaspoon Rosemary
  9. 1 teaspoon Thyme
  10. Salt
  11. Pepper
Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine onion, lamb, and beef. Add in the rosemary, marjoram, thyme, garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper and mix well. Cover and place into the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  2. Set oven to 325 degrees F.
  3. Using a food processor, mix the meat and herb mixture for a minute. The mixture should have a pasty texture. Set the mixture into a lightly oiled 7x4 loaf pan and bake at 325 degrees until the internal temperature of the meat reaches 165 degrees.
  4. Allow loaf to cool for 3 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
